Amy Moniot
Education Director
Amy holds advocacy and inclusion close to her heart and has built a career helping those from international backgrounds find paths to success.
After seven years in International Programs at Oberlin College and Conservatory, she spent two years creating and implementing a high school to college bridge program between International Newcomers’ Academy and Cuyahoga Community College. She most recently transitioned from the role of Manager of Programming at Cleveland Council on World Affairs where she oversaw speaker engagements for Foreign Policy Forum, Cleveland Committee on Foreign Relations, and the 2023 Centennial Civic Forum.
A Clevelander at home, she has also spent time teaching in Mexico, Thailand, Georgia as a Peace Corps Volunteer, and Myanmar (Burma) as an English Language Fellow supported by the State Department.
She holds a Master of Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Cleveland State University and Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Akron.
Amy lives in Ohio City and enjoys stopping for coffee on her walk to work.
