Susanna Pasichnyk
Academic Support Coordinator
Susanna brings her expertise as an ESL Instructor to the Teen Response team where she works primarily with Ukrainian students and families who attend Normandy High School in Parma.
She was born and raised in Lviv, Ukraine, where she lived until relocating to the US in 2022. Her passion for the English language started in high school and proceeded in the Ivan Franko State University of Lviv, Faculty of Foreign Languages, where she earned a degree in English Language and Literature, graduating in 2001.
From 2001 until 2022 she built her career in the Department of Foreign Languages and Military Translation of Hetman Petro Sahaidachny National Army Academy as a linguist, an ESL instructor, and an interpreter. During her time as an ESL instructor she developed the skills and expertise to meet students across a broad range of educational and experience levels as they work to learn English as a second language.
Susanna appreciates every minute spent with her kids, who support and inspire her. She is the proud mother of a 17 year old son, Yaroslav and a 10 year old daughter, Liubov, who are siblings and the best of friends.
