All Refugee Response team meetings, client meetings, mentoring/tutoring sessions, and all other gatherings will be conducted over Zoom or by phone whenever possible until further notice. When this is not possible, team members will make every effort to find the lowest-risk solution, including utilizing outdoor spaces, increasing indoor ventilation, limiting the number of participants, and keeping time in person brief.

 

Refugee Response office and Learning Lab may be visited by previously scheduled appointment only.

 

Refugee Response staff, volunteers, and clients ages 2 and older MUST wear a mask at all times when gathering in person (both indoors and outdoors). Mask must be a tight-fitting cloth or disposable face mask that covers both the nose and mouth. RR will provide a mask to anyone without.

 

Those entering The Refugee Response office, Learning Lab, transportation vehicle, or scheduling a meeting will be asked screening questions regarding any recent illness in their household. Visitors MAY NOT ENTER and all services must be provided virtually if anyone in the household has been ill in the past week with symptoms including any of the following: cough, runny nose, loss of sense of taste/smell, sore throat, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

 

All visitors (including volunteers, clients, students and parents) will be asked to sign in at every visit for contact tracing purposes. Hand washing with soap and water (or hand sanitizer in a vehicle) is required upon entry and no food or drink will be permitted.

 

Students in the Learning Lab will have a dedicated set of supplies for each household and must maintain physical distance of more than 6 ft from students not in their household. All shared surfaces and high-touch areas will be sanitized following each gathering in the Learning Lab and RR offices.

 

These guidelines may need to change based on the level of spread in Cuyahoga County or new information about risks.
