ABOUT

Ohio City Farm was founded in 2010 and is jointly administered by Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority and Re:Source Cleveland.

As one of the largest and most productive urban farms in the nation, Ohio City Farm welcomes thousands of visitors each year and stands as a successful model for mission driven businesses.

Ohio City Farm is powered by Re:Source Cleveland and is located in the historic Ohio City Neighborhood in the near West Side of Cleveland, Ohio.

As an initiative of Re:Source Cleveland, Ohio City Farm nourishes the community with local food and empowers newcomers in Northeast Ohio by providing them with employment and training.

Since breaking ground in 2010, at least seven countries of origin have been represented on the farm team. Many newcomers working at the farm have a background working agriculture in their home countries and bring a wide range of experience to their work here in Cleveland. For our team members, the farm provides a familiar and welcoming work environment that is invaluable when acclimating to a new city and country.

All crops that go into the Ohio City Farm CSA, restaurant orders, farm stand, and farm-to-community food donation program were sown, grown and harvested by the hardworking team employed by Re:Source Cleveland

SUPPORT OHIO CITY FARM

One of the best ways to support our work at Ohio City Farm is by becoming a CSA member. CSA stands for community supported agriculture, and CSA members sign up at the beginning of the season to receive a share of fresh, local and organically grown vegetables once per week throughout the growing season. It's the most delicious way to support Re:Source Cleveland!
