Becky Trout-Ashenfelter

Corner65 Program Director

Becky is a New Jersey native who moved to Cleveland in 2011 to intern at a local nonprofit developing youth programming after volunteering at camps for 4 years . Over the course of 10 years Becky grew to love Cleveland and develop Corner65 - a refugee youth program that has expanded to over 150 youth that involved sports, arts, and entrepreneurship. Becky founded ButterPear in 2017 as her passion to help artists in various countries and refugee artists in Cleveland to give back to their communities for education fees. She is excited to bring #Corner65 to its new home at Re:Source Cleveland and continue to grow and flourish with all of our community!
