Patrick Kearns
Executive Director
Patrick is an experienced organization leader, program and business developer, educator and change agent. At Re:Source Cleveland, he oversees the educational and employment programs of the organization including the national renown Ohio City Farm. The organization is now reaching more clients than ever and accessing communities previously underserved.
Prior to this Patrick worked in South East Asia for 14 years. His work there began in 2003 as a volunteer teacher for youth who were political exiles from Myanmar. Following this Patrick lived in Umphium Mai refugee camp on the Thai- Myanmar border for two years where he co-founded a school for young adults. He then opened Youth Connect, a Thai Foundation working with stateless youth that included opening and running the award winning social enterprise, the Picturebook Guesthouse. From 2014 to 2016 Patrick worked as the Director for World Education in Thailand and Myanmar implementing a US State Department grant reaching over 300,000 individuals.
