Eugenia Batina

Academic Support Coordinator

Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Jane has endured the hardships brought upon by the war in her homeland. Forced to leave her home, she embarked on a journey of resilience and hope, eventually finding solace in the welcoming city of Cleveland in June 2022.

With a Master's degree in Medieval History, her passion for understanding the past runs deep. However, her commitment to making a positive impact in the world led her down diverse paths. She dedicated a year of her life to volunteering at the Auschwitz Jewish Center in Oswiecim, Poland, where she bore witness to the tragic history and contributed to the preservation of memory.

Fluent in four languages—Ukrainian, English, Russian, and Polish—she possesses a remarkable linguistic aptitude that enables her to connect with people from various backgrounds and promote cross-cultural understanding.

Having dedicated eight years of her life to working with teenagers, she recognizes the transformative power of mentorship and guidance. Her experiences have ignited a profound passion for leadership, education, and personal development.

As an advocate for these values, she strives to empower individuals to reach their full potential, equipping them with the necessary tools to lead purposeful lives and make meaningful contributions to society.
